Parliamentary Secretary for Western NSW Rick Colless on Friday announced the facility - to be housed in the soon-to-be-transformed community hall - would receive $5 million in state government funding.
The completed facility will boast an expanded and modern community building adjacent to the existing community hall, and new indoor and outdoor areas with capacity for meetings.
The hall, which is more than 130 years old, is located across the road from the Cabonne Council chambers in Bank Street.
"The community has been asking for this funding, and I'm proud to announce that the NSW Liberals and Nationals were able to deliver it," Mr Colless said.
