Orange paced their chase of 177 to perfection at The Scots School, capitalising on errant Bathurst bowling and surviving a scare towards the end of the day to turn around the result from the previous weekend's meeting.
The hosts entered the match determined to end their title drought in the age group, and get revenge following last season's rain-affected final, but Orange turned up ready to fight.

Bathurst won the toss and elected to bat.
Bailey Brien (18) and Rory Daburger (28) were in no rush to pile on the runs and were hitting at a run rate less than two after 10 overs.
It took seven overs for the first boundary of the match, a task made hard by strong bowling from opening pair Hudson Izzard (0-22 from seven) and Angus Cumming (1-20 from 10).
Cohen Schubert (45) arrived at the crease after Brien's dismissal and slowly brought the run rate up above 3.5 by the time Daburger departed.
Bathurst were dealt a huge blow when Nic Broes was stumped for just one run off the bowling of Hugh Middleton.
Connor Slattery (41) hung around at the crease to help Bathurst post 9-176 from their 50 overs.
Middleton finished with Orange's best figures of 3-46.
Disaster struck in the opening over of Orange's chase when Max Powell was run out for four.
Bailey Ferguson (19) and Kaleb Cook (12) both spent an hour at the crease before Lachlan Coyte (45) and Cumming (23) gave the visitors the upper hand with their partnership.
When things were looking dire Bathurst conjured up a team hat-trick to send the score from 4-145 to 7-146.
However, that only brought Middleton out in the middle who sealed the game with some big hits.
Middleton feasted on Bathurst's errant bowling and blasted 25 runs in just 11 deliveries to see Orange home with five overs in hand.
Joseph Kay's quick fire 19 also proved pivotal for Orange.
Mitch Taylor and Broes both finished with innings-best figures of 2-29 for Bathurst.
"It was a great team performance with the ball. We really restricted them in those middle overs," winning captain Ferguson said.
"Gus started off really well with the ball and Hugh Middleton got the big scalp of Nic Broes.
"With the bat Lachlan was awesome and then Joe and Angus came in to put great partnerships together."
