She knows she's now part of the Western Rams family.
The opening round of the 2019 country championship will be staged at Parkes on the weekend with both the Rams' under 23s and the women drawn to face the Monaro Colts, while the Johns and Daley Cup boys will also feature against the Canberra-based region on a bumper game-day card.
Friday marked International Women's Day around the world and the inclusion of the girls, for the first time alongside the Rams' under 16s, under 18s and under 23s sides, on a such a grand stage for the division makes for a special occasion in Western history.
And Regan can't wait.
"Just the whole experience of it all, seeing what it's like to play representative footy and being part of the Rams, it should be great," Regan said.
"The girls from last year said, playing at this level, it was a really tough game and very aggressive, but I'll be fine."
A star with Cargo in the Woodbridge Cup's league tag competition, Regan made the transition from tag gun to tackle weapon with relative ease and she says enjoys the contact side of the sport.
"I like the aggression," Regan smiled.
I like having my own space and running around a bit more. Even with the defence, I can position myself a bit better.

"Tackle has been pretty good but I'm still getting used to the whole thing.
"I get a bit mixed up with the tackle and league tag if I'm playing one and then the other … it's the same with touch too. But I really like it and enjoy both of them."
A dynamic ball-runner with speed to burn, Regan is one of three Woodbridge Cup players named in Jess Skinner's Western line-up, with fellow speedster Molly Hoswell named on the wing and Chloe White set to come off the bench.
In total, seven Goannas and seven Panorama players dominate the team, with the latter outfit supplying the most experience with Hayley Lepaio and Bec Ford both representing NSW County southern in 2018.
Ford and Meredith Jones will captain the Western team on Sunday and Regan said both have been tremendous support for a lot of the young Rams girls ahead of a huge clash with Monaro.
"Meredith and Rebecca have been great and so positive," she added.
Regan will line-up at fullback on Sunday.
"That's where I'm comfortable. I like having my own space and running around a bit more. Even with the defence, I can position myself a bit better," she said.
"And I think defence will be a big thing, so will our team work. Some of the names in the Monaro team are familiar, but I reckon we can handle it if we defend well and work together.
The western women's game, scheduled to kick-off at 1.05pm, is the curtain-raiser for the men's under 23s match.
