Little ones will have the chance to test their apple bobbing skills, bite their teeth into fresh toffee apples and talk to the people who tend to the trees.
Several orchardists will be at the market to offer a taste of their new season Galas, ahead of the upcoming Orange Apple Festival.
Committee president Fiona Hall said the festival is to celebrate the rich history of apple-growing in the Orange region.
During FOOD Week, the festival committee will host an Apple Ramble on Saturday April 6.
A bus will take fruit lovers from the Orange Visitor Information Centre to wonder through apple orchards in the scenic Towac Valley tasting apples, juice and cider.
The family event will invite children to pick the fruit and take part in apple games as they make their way to a long lunch.
Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall said the Apple Ramble offers a rare chance for people to interact with the orchardists who are living and breathing harvest.
The Orange Farmers Market is on at the Northcourt from 8:30am-12pm.
