Premier Gladys Berejiklian has been asked to state the government's position on projects including re-opening the Blayney-Demondrille railway line and improving the Bells Line of Road across the Blue Mountains.
The Lachlan Regional Transport Committee which covers council areas including Cabonne and Blayney shires has put a list of topics to the Premier before the March 23 state election.
Spokesman Dennis Hughes said the railway line has been subject to several reports and $5 million funding had been committed.
"However, to date this project has not been progressed. The LRTC would like your party's position on the future development and operation of the [line]," he said.
Mr Hughes said the group also wanted to know if the $5 million contribution would still be honoured.
The railway line runs through Carcoar, Cowra and Young connecting the main western and southern railway lines.

Mr Hughes said there had been "little if any progress" on the Bells Line of Road corridor.
He said the reply would be circulated to member councils.
