Orange Tenpin Bowl will bring a technology not seen before in Australia when the lanes are lit using Clutch Bowling on Friday.
The Byng Street centre will illuminate six of its 16 lanes with a system which allows the player to knock down 3D pirates and break down projected brick walls.
Champion bowler Jason Belmonte said he saw the interactive system on PBA tour in the US he saw its potential for both training and fun.

"From a coaching perspective you can start to integrate tracking and targeting technology. I can set up interactive targets so when I hit them they explode," he said.
He said he think the fantasy element will be great for both families and those who take bowling a bit more seriously.
"It adds an element of fun. You can create games so you're not only getting better but enjoying the practice and as an athlete that's often the hardest part."
The Clutch Bowling lanes will be open to the public from Friday - bookings are advised.
