THE man alleged to have stabbed another man to death in North Orange in the early hours of Saturday morning was formally refused bail on Monday morning.

Darryle Lee Tailford, 26, of Orange, was on Saturday afternoon charged with murder after the fatal incident at a residence in Romano Drive.
In Orange Local Court on Monday morning his legal representative Georgina Meikle made no application for bail, and bail was formally refused.
Tailford, who is being held in custody in Bathurst and chose not to appear via the audio-visual link, entered no plea to the charge of murder.
His matter will return to Orange Local Court on Monday, March 11 for the prosecution to lodge a forensic procedure application.
An order will be made for service of the brief of evidence in the same court next month.
Tailford appeared in Orange Local Court on Sunday, where he was also refused bail and remanded to appear on Monday.
