Racing NSW Steward, Courtney McIntosh confirmed Orange-based Alison Smith has been hospitalised after being struck in the face by one of her horses.
Smith last had runners in Bathurst on February 26 when Eyesaw and Audio Bay both picked up third places in their respective races.
Krissy Krystyna was due to take place in a trial run in Cowra on Monday, but was still set to run as of 10am.
