Over 1500 participants lined up in the 2019 Orange Runners Festival out at Bloomfield, with the children's event on Saturday night and the main races on Sunday morning.

The marathon and half-marathon runners took off in perfect conditions after 6am, with clear skies and not a hint of breeze making the run out to Spring Hill and back worthy of a postcard, according to runners.
While things did heat up during the five and 10 kilometre events, volunteers were on-hand to make sure everyone was hydrated and protected from the sun.
