A group of all-singing, all-dancing style kings and queens are about to take part in a six-week Glee Club with Central West Performing Arts and the club is recruiting new members.
Boys and girls aged between eight and 13 years-old are invited to join the five week transformative journey, which will focus on acting, singing and dancing.
We have such a great theatre company in Orange it'd be great to get a few more kids interested in that.
- Glee Club teacher Jamie Kaye
Teacher Jamie Kaye said no experience is necessary for the Saturday afternoon classes.
"It's for all levels. The dancing won't be hard it's very boppy and steppy as opposed to technical," she said.
Mrs Kaye will teach the drama and dance aspect of the lessons, with members of Orange Theatre Company stepping in to teach singing lessons.
She said the classes are somewhat inspired by the television show Glee Club, in that the American sitcom was the first she had heard of this type of drama group.
The classes also fit the criteria for the NSW government's Creative Kids vouchers, which will provide parents with $100 towards the cost.
Mrs Kayes said she hopes the Glee Club will provide an opportunity for children to foster their love of drama.

The one-and-a-half hour classes kick-off on March 16.
