Darryle Lee Tailford, 26, of Orange, appeared in court on Sunday morning after a 20-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and killed at a house in Romano Drive in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Tailford did not apply for bail, and was remanded to appear in Orange Local Court on Monday.

Emergency services were called to a house at Romano Drive just after 3am after reports of a physical altercation between two men.
On arrival, the 20-year-old man was found unresponsive with a stab wound to his chest.
His name has not yet been released by police.
Officers from Central West Police District performed CPR on the man, however when NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, he was declared deceased at the scene.

Police began a search of the local area for the accused.
An unattended vehicle was later located on Clinton Street.
Crime scenes were established at both locations for examination by specialist police.
Police said Tailford went to the Orange police station in Byng Street about 3pm on Saturday.
