"These matters are serious drug supply matters and drug supply is not a victimless crime, the whole community suffers," Mr Day said.

Eid, 32, of Diamond Drive, is facing 13 charges of drug supply including supplying an indictable quantity of prohibited drugs, supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs and dealing with proceeds of crime.

Eid is being held on remand after he was arrested last Tuesday following Strike Force Pimm, a covert police investigation into an alleged drug syndicate.

Officers attached to the Central West Police District established Strike Force Pimm in January 2018, to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs across Orange, Sydney, Bathurst and Cowra.

The investigation resulted in police arresting seven men across the Central West and the seizure of more than 1.5 kilograms of prohibited drugs, as well as cash and ammunition.

Eid was initially refused bail by a registrar last Tuesday and on Monday he had a chance to make another bail application and appeared in Orange Local Court vial video link.

Three other men from Orange who are co-accused in the matter were also refused bail and Eid's case will next appear in Orange Local Court in April.

Eid is yet to enter pleas for the charges.
