About 58 motorcycle riders and pillion passengers took to the roads around Orange and Cabonne on Saturday to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The event was run by the Country Riders Social Motorcycle Club and club member Mark Garey said the charity ride was to venture to Forest Reefs, Molong, Manildra then finish at the Robin Hood Hotel in Orange.
The final amount is yet to be counted but early estimates suggested about $1200 would be raised.
Mr Garey said the club formed two years ago and this was the second charity ride undertaken in Orange.

"People have come from Sydney for the event and throughout the Central West," Mr Garey said.
He said the money raised would go towards prostate cancer support groups, with 80 per cent of funds going to the Orange group and 20 per cent going to the national prostate cancer organisation.
"I was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago, which was an advanced form of stage four prostate cancer," Mr Garey said.
"We are raising money for the support groups."
He said people go on a huge emotional roller coaster when they are diagnosed with prostate cancer but the support groups help with emotional and social support as well as providing information.
Mr Garey said the Orange group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Uniting Carinya in Prince Street and in the past few years it has raised money to purchase a Prostate Cancer Staging Machine for Orange Health Service to help with diagnosis of prostate cancer.
One of Saturday's participants, who was not a member of the Country Riders, was John Spicer who said he has always ridden dirt bikes but borrowed a road bike for the charity event.
"I've just got prostate cancer," Mr Spicer said.
"You are always too scared to talk about it when you hear about people who have cancer but when you have it you talk to people.
