Orange hasn't won Mitchell Cricket Council's President's Cup since 2009-10 so it's not hard to fathom how much a victory in Sunday's decider would mean to the rebuilding association, especially considering it would snap Bathurst's eight-summer reign too.

But for Bluebaggers' skipper Daryl Kennewell, a triumph would mean a lot more than just hoisting a second trophy this summer, his side claimed Mitchell's Twenty20 Cup earlier this year.
Since being handed the side's reins in the 2016-17 summer Kennewell, 39, has been the focal point of Orange's recent resurgence but on Friday afternoon he confirmed Sunday's decider will be his last appearance in a baggy blue.
With that in mind, he said a victory would be "perfect".
Not so much for him though, while he'd love to finish with a title win he said it would mean more for the side and the association as it would leave the Bluebaggers in an excellent position to continue building under their new leader next season.
"We've been putting plans in place over the last three or four years and we're starting to get to the position we want to be in," Kennewell said.
"Not just me, there's been a lot of people involved who want to see Orange back at the top of Mitchell and the Western Zone and I don't think we're far away from that now.
"So yes, it would mean a lot to win. I guess for me too, I've put a lot of work into it and while I certainly won't just be leaving, I'll still be involved behind the scenes, this is going to be my last game so beating Bathurst would be a good way to finish."
Of course, Kennewell added, that's easier said than done.
The eight-time reigning champions boast as strong a side as they have in any of their recent title wins and hammered the Bluebaggers last time around, winning by seven wickets at Wade Park earlier this month.
While that victory wasn't enough to stop Orange earning hosting rights for the decider, Sunday's clash is at the same ground, it certainly sent a message.
"We didn't score enough runs that day and we didn't bowl well on a flat deck," Kennewell said, Bathurst needed just 36 overs to chase down Orange's 192 that day.
Ensuring that doesn't happen again on Sunday comes down to one thing too, Orange's skipper said.
"It's about intent," Kennewell fired.
"We've picked a batting-heavy side and we want to be showing intent right from the start. We've missed a couple of tricks this summer when we've been bogged down in reasonable positions, so we don't want that to happen again.
"It's the same with the ball. Bathurst have some really handy players, they're a well-rounded side, so we need to show intent with the ball and in the field and hit our lines consistently."
Considering their recent form Kennewell said he will look to the likes of Matt Corben and Nick Dunlop to stand up in the top order, both are coming off big tons at club level and the former is averaging a tick under 50 in a blue cap this summer.
Bailey Ferguson is another of the Bluebaggers' top order who could do some damage, he's notched triple figures twice this summer for Cavaliers and is averaging almost 100 in Orange District Cricket Association's top grade.
"Those guys are in great form and obviously you want your top order to be out there for the best part of the innings, but we bat all the way down," Kennewell said, pointing to Ed Morrish as an example of that, Orange City's skipper is averaging 40 this summer but will likely bat at 10 on Sunday.

"We may even mix things up in that batting order, I'm not sure yet but it'll depend on the situation we're in. Either way I'm confident we'll be able to pile on a good score.
"Honestly if we win the toss and bat first I'd be looking at a score of 250 or even 300 on Wade Park, that kind of scoreboard pressure will go a long way to winning the game."
The opening delivery of Sunday's Mitchell Cricket Council President's Cup final will be bowled at 10am, with the clash to be officiated by Bathurst's Mark Waldren and Orange's Ian Findlay.
