Nick Dunlop and Fletcher Rose combined for an unbeaten partnership of 174 with Dunlop hitting 131 and Rose 102 as Centrals battered the CYMS bowlers at Jack Brabham Park.
They are believed to be the first centuries scored by any Centrals player in first grade in 11 years.
And it was Rose’s first century in first grade.
Meanwhile Shaun Grenfell scored 100 for Orange City before being caught in the game against Kinross at Wade Park.
When Grenfell came to the wicket the side was in strife at 3-22.
Centrals captain Daryl Kennewell said his side’s performance was a complete reversal to the previous week when they struggled on a pitch after it had rained.
It was a ground out sort of innings, there were a lot of threes.

“Win the toss and bat, it was a role reversal,” he said.
He praised both Dunlop and Rose for their timely centuries.
“It was definitely a very good performance by Nick Dunlop,” he said.
“It was a ground out sort of innings, there were a lot of threes. He hit a lot straight and on the offside.”
Dunlop hit 12 fours and two sixes in his innings which lasted nearly four hours after opening the batting.
He and Rose combined with a partnership that allowed Kennewell to declare at 5-305.
Kennewell said Rose was overdue for a big score.
“He was due for a ton. He’s a very talented kid,” he said.
Kennewell said the wicket had helped them.
“It’s a very flat deck. It was very hard to bowl on. It’s a batter’s paradise,” he said.
After he declared CYMS finished the first day of the two-day game at 0-23 off six overs.
Tom West has scored 21 runs in that total.
Kennewell said he was hoping his bowlers could take 20 wickets in a day next Saturday to give them an outright result which they would likely need to make the finals.
He said the batting effort showed they had the ability to win.
“We’ve always had the potential to do it but it’s about respecting our wicket,” he said.
“You’ve got to be there if you want to score runs. The boys are really knuckling down now.”
Grenfell’s ton plus great bowling from Ed Morrish (3-3) and Brett Causer (1-3) has given Orange City a firm grip on the game against Kinross.
Causer’s wicket followed a strong knock of 42 batting at number eight while Darren Barrett made 23.
City made 233 after watching three wickets fall with the score stuck on 22. Kinross is only 4-7 in reply.
