Home renovators can start their weekend early with a sausage sizzle fundraiser at Bunnings on Friday.
The North Orange store will take part in a national campaign to raise some funds for people in Queensland and Tasmania recovering from the recent floods and fire.
Online charity GIVIT.org.au, which supports charities, schools and groups to fundraise for Australia's most vulnerable, will drive the event.
GIVIT’s Founder and Director Juliette Wright said 100 percent of all funds raised through Bunnings will be used to purchase essential items for those in need.
"We are also committed to purchasing locally wherever possible to support the economic recovery of these affected areas,” she said.
Team members will be on the tongs from 9am – 4pm.
