Emergency services were called to Eleven Mile Drive just after 1am following reports of a crash.
Officers from Chifley Police District arrived and found the vehicle had left the road.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, died at the scene.
Police established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
