Police are seeking information on the male driver of a car who fled the scene after crashing into another vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said at 1.05pm a Holden Commodore sedan failed to take a corner at the intersection of Goorawin and Leura roads.
He said the car collided with another vehicle on Goorawin Road, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

As a result of the crash, the male driver of the other car was injured, trapped in his vehicle and was taken to Orange hospital, from where he was expected to be released on Sunday.
His female passenger was also taken to hospital for observation.
Chief Inspector Atkins said the driver of the Commodore fled the scene and police are seeking information about his whereabouts.
His female passenger remained at the scene and was arrested by police for unrelated domestic violence matters, including breaching an apprehended violence order and breach of bail.
