The inaugural Orange Region Wedding Expo will be held at Orange Ex-Services’ Club on Sunday from 10am-3pm, featuring at least 25 stallholders from celebrants and entertainment to photographers and cake decorators.
They will be spread between the Coral Sea Room and The Greenhouse of Orange.
For David Smyth and son Toby of two-year-old business The Studio Door, the expo was a chance to show off their film work.
Whether you’re planning a family occasion steeped in tradition or an intimate ceremony, there are ways of getting everything the way you imagine it

“This is an amazing venue and we want our business to be associated with that,” Mr Smyth said.
For Megan Claire Flowers and Photography owner Megan Woods, it was a reminder to people some of the more established operators were still out there.
“On social media, people tend to miss organic posts,” she said.
“You get to put a face to the name and engage with the person.”
Little Image Co owner Sarah Spagnolo said it was an opportunity to see other services couples may not have considered.
“People tend to get stuck on things from other weddings or what they’ve seen on the internet,” she said.
Club event manager Tayla Harvey said the club had regular contact with wedding suppliers and were often asked for recommendations.
“We’ve worked with the majority of people [holding stalls],” she said.
“Having everything in the one place on the one day means people can talk to everyone at once.”
She said Orange’s different seasons set the scene for a range of celebrations.
“Whether you’re planning a family occasion steeped in tradition or an intimate ceremony, there are ways of getting everything the way you imagine it,” she said.
Ms Harvey said couples were also welcome to chat to club staff if they were interested at hosting their wedding at the club.
However, Mrs Woods encouraged couples to be decisive.
“Get in quick, book your date,” she said.
“You can have winter weddings, but not a lot of people are brave enough.”
Entry is free.
