The 8x10 Group Exhibition will show off work from over 40 artists, covering all different mediums, styles, and subject matter, will adorn the walls of the Gallery.
It will feature mostly work from the Central West, with over 60 per cent of the artwork sourced from the region, with the rest of the pieces from from Sydney and as far as Melbourne and Perth.
It’s a great way to discover new artists from all over the region.
- Madi Holborow
Corner Store Gallery director Madi Holborow said she loved the 8x10 exhibition, with this run the third time the small pieces have come to cover her walls.
This is the biggest, too, with 79 pieces from about 50 artists adoring the hallowed halls of the Corner Store.
Mrs Holborow said one piece by Cowra artist Inel Dates was her standout for the exhibition, with a triptych of paintings painting the photo across three panels.
“I absolutely love it, and I love doing these exhibitions,” she said.
“It’s a great way to discover new artists from all over the region.”
An opening will be held on Friday night from 6pm at the Gallery, while the exhibition will run for two weeks, closing on February 9.
The Gallery’s hours have also changed, now open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am, and is now closed on Sunday.
