The car was stolen from a property in Hill Street between 8pm and 7am on Saturday night.
According to police the Ford Focus was stolen after a house in Hill Street was broken into and a handbag and a set of car keys, for the Ford Focus were stolen.
Police found the stolen car completely destroyed by fire close to 8am on Sunday at South Lead Road Forbes.
