The 15-year-old is playing as part of the Cricket Australia XI, which is a development side for underage prospects, and hit a 50 against Vic Metro on Thursday before being run out.
The 50 came off 43 deliveries, propelling the side to 6-132 from their 20 overs before dismissing the Melbourne side for just 73 in response.
It was the side’s second of three wins in the tournament from six games, with Litchfield hitting 154 runs at 30 batting at number three or four, with one game to go on Friday night against the Northern Territory.
