The three-year-old gelding finished seventh from eight in a trial run at Warwick Farm on January 8, but will have its first run in the real deal during the $22,000 Ronald McDonald House Orange 3YO Plate over 1100 metres.
Meanwhile, fellow Towac Park trainer Alison Smith will send Eyesaw to the Cowra Jockey Club to line up in the Jamieson’s Joinery Benchmark 58 Handicap, hoping to build on a second and fourth in his past two starts.
The pair will be joined by Michael Plummer who has five runners slated for the meet.
In Too Deep and Bush Rambler have both had nominations accepted to run alongside Yokai.
Matchfox will be hoping for a place after two sixths, two fifths and a fourth in his past five runs, while Fine Hero and Maco Napret will also run. Racing starts at 1.10pm.
