Domain collated a list of the 10 properties which sold for the highest prices in 2018.
The Orange region’s most expensive property of the year was a 61-hectare grazing property sold by One Agency for $3 million in February.
One Agency principal Ash Brown said it included a four-bedroom house with four bathrooms, tennis court, swimming pool, landscaped gardens and entertaining areas on red basalt soil.
“I believe the previous owner owned it for many decades, it was held for a long time in their family,” Mr Brown said.
“We had a buyer who was interested in it so it was fairly quick. It wasn’t too long on the market.”
Although the main house was somewhat dated, Mr Brown said it had good bones, and it was rare to fine a farming and lifestyle property of that calibre so close to town.
