POLICE are calling for information from the public after machinery was stolen from a shearing shed near Manildra.

NSW Police rural crime officer Cameron Whiteside said between 2pm on Tuesday, January 8 and 11am on Friday a shearing shed about 15 kilometres west of Manildra on Henry Parkes Way was broken into.
“Offenders have stolen a Heiniger shearing grinder and three EVO speed shearing plants,” detective inspector Cameron Whiteside said.

“The shearing plants are less than 12 months old.”
Detective inspector Whiteside said the cost to the landholder to replace these items will be approximately $8000.
“It appears that there is someone out there that needs them more and is not prepared to earn the money to get their own,” he said.
