A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the woman, 80, was taken to Orange hospital for treatment after precautions were taken for spinal treatment.

He said three ambulance crews attended and police were also at the scene.
The incident occurred on the eastbound side of the pedestrian crossing outside of the Kite Street entrance to Orange Public School between Anson and Sale Street.
Crews were in attendance at 10.15am and the patient was transferred to hospital at about 10.30am.
Traffic was allowed to flow past the incident.
