Wollongong’s Robyn Moon and friends Rhonda Danaher and Wendy Morey were on the Elvis Express in matching T-shirts and Ms Moon said the music was “our era”.
“There’s been great shows in the carriages,” she said.
The Gold Coast’s Graham Lawrence boarded the train at Orange as an assistant Elvis ambassador after being a passenger for the first time two years ago.
“It was just a lot of fun,” he said.
Orange Lachlan Valley Railway members waved to the trains from the trackside.
Peter Wilson said it reminded him of catching the train as a child where “all the smoke came through the windows”.

Orange-based business Trojan Trays Australia provided a tray of burgers for the Blue Suede Express passengers.
Marketing manager Geoff Buss said the business wanted to use the Parkes Elvis Festival to help build Orange’s profile.
