NSW Ambulance confirmed the woman injured her back while diving into a pool and paramedics responded at 5.50pm.
The woman was in a stable condition and has since been released.
The Central Western Daily understands the woman may have been diving from the 10-metre platform.
Centre management closed the 50-metre pool due to insufficient staff after the incident and only squad swimming still proceeded in the 25-metre pool.
The facility opened as normal on Thursday.
It was the second time the facility has been affected by closures this week after thunderstorms prevented the centre from opening on Tuesday.
Orange City Council has been contacted for comment.
More to come.
