Brenevan Padmeswaran has had a knock to remember on Wade Park on Wednesday, scoring 100 not out to guide Parramatta to a win on day three of the Western NSW Junior Cricket Carnival while James Lennox’s 108 was the catalyst for Penrith’s 46-run win over Dubbo.

Padmeswaran hit 13 fours on his way to his 115-ball ton after he came in at number eight, putting on 120 runs with the tail after Dilraj Singh (31) was dismissed with the score at 69, finishing with a total of 191.
Shoalhaven started strongly in the chase, reaching 69 without loss before Tom Fletcher – who made 78 not out on Tuesday – was dismissed for a team-high 37.
It all unravelled from there as Damien Guild bowled a phenomenal spell of 3-2 from six overs, with four maidens – while also being involved in two run-outs – to stem the flow and restrict Sholhaven to 121 all-out.
That spell followed his 5-11 and 32 not out on Tuesday.

Lennox hit his 108 at a run-a-ball, putting on 128 with Blake Hodges (40) to get his side to 8-246 from 50 overs, while Dubbo could only reach 8-200 after their allotted overs.
Meanwhile, Mitchell cleaned up in their Wednesday game against South Coast, bowling the visitors out for just 23 in 16.3 overs and chasing the target down in just 11.
From each of their four overs Ned McCarney took 4-6, Jacob Lamb took 2-6 off four and Tom Seldon took 2-5 to skittle South Coast, while Ruben Newton (10 not out) and Jeron Sito (seven not out) guided the side to a nine-wicket win with help from seven extras after Blayde Burke fell for a duck.
Wagga Wagga triumphed over North West Sydney Maroon at a slow Kinross Wolaroi Oval, chasing down the Sydney side’s 49-over total of 96 with four overs to spare with Noah Harper hitting a 113-ball 38 and taking 3-9 from eight overs.
Blacktown Black made easy work of South Eastern after bowling the side out for a total of 117 from 32.4 overs.
The former shared the load in the field as two South Easter batters were run out, while four bowlers took one wicket as Nikhil Thokala and Zariyat Hasan took two.
Captain Liam Newman led the way with the bat during the run chase with 58 as Blacktown chased the total with four wickets and 20 overs in hand.
Blacktown Gold had a more difficult game, losing by 93 runs to a strong ACT Blue side.

A Blake Phillips half-century wasn’t enough for North West Sydney Gold to defeat Lachlan as Harry Roscarel hit an unbeaten 59 from 134 deliveries to guide his side home with a eight overs to go.
ACT Yellow handed Orange a 60-run loss, bowling the hosts out for 59 chasing 119.
