The woman, who asked to remain unnamed for fear of retribution, said she had been living at her west Orange property for the past five years, with a rental property across the road.
But in March last year, she said fresh tenants moved in and drugs had been dealt from the property ever since.
“A young couple with a couple of kids, thought hopefully it would be all good, but then the cars kept coming,” she said.
“People turn up for a couple of minutes and they’re gone again, and it’s all day.
Some [inquiries] can be protracted and take months or longer to come to a conclusion.
- Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins
“They’re dropping their kids off to do it – the youngest we’ve seen is 14.”
The resident said she was confronted once by a purchaser, who mistook her taking photographs of her garden as taking surveillance photos of her.
“The young lady threatened to punch my head in,” she said.
The resident said she had delivered registration plate details to police on multiple occasions and police had attended, but operations only slowed briefly afterwards and no charges had been laid.
She was incensed by an announcement Crime Stoppers would relaunch the Dob in a Dealer campaign on February 26.
“I’m angry, I’m frustrated – they say dob them in, but we’re doing it and it’s been almost a year and they’re still in business,” she said.
“They can afford drugs, but they’re not working and I’m paying for their lifestyle to a degree.”
Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said he could not comment on individual cases still under investigation, but assured residents they could be confident police would look at supplied information.
“Some [inquiries] can be protracted and take months or longer to come to a conclusion,” he said.
“With some, there’s no evidence to support the allegations.”
Chief Inspector Atkins said information could also be given anonymously.
The Dob in a Dealer campaign will especially target ice and cannabis supply due to their prevalence here – people can contact 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppers.com.au.
