If the sound of this multi-element sugar-laden dessert leaves you salivating you’re in good company, according to co-owner of Elwood Eatery’s Ben Allcock.

“We wanted to do something to suit the summer, a lot of people are doing milkshakes and we prefer to try to do things which are new, fresh and innovative,” he said.

While inspiration for the Lords Place eatery’s main menu comes from the southern-style barbeque in the US, Mr Allcock said the kitchen has celebrity chefs and cooking shows to thank for Australia’s growing palet for creative desserts.
