A few hours after attending church on Christmas Eve, Jacqueline Chan went into labour and at 12.33pm on Christmas Day she gave birth to Jansen.
He is the first child for Jacqueline and proud dad John Wai.
Despite his due date being set for December 31, Mr Wai said they did not have any set Christmas plans aside from attending church on Christmas Eve just in case Jansen arrived a few days early.
Mr Wai said the birth went smoothly and the staff were great.
He said because Jansen was the first baby to be born on Christmas Day they were presented with a gift hamper.
The family will to continue living in Orange but next year they will take Jansen to meet their families in Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Christmas plans had to be delayed but Danielle Haggar and Shane Wright couldn’t be happier following the birth of their daughter, Skyla Grace Wright, at 3.50pm.
“She was due on the 20th so she was a bit late,” Mr Wright said.
“We weren’t planning for it to happen but [she’s] the best Christmas present we could receive.”
Skylar weighed 3400 grams and is a sister to six-year-old Sienna.
“[Sienna] was excited, she’s pretty happy she has a little sister,” Mr Wright said.
The couple were planning to host both their families for Christmas lunch but the plan was scuttled after Ms Haggar went into labour on Christmas Eve.
However, they still got to hold the celebration on Boxing Day after Danielle and Skyla left hospital and Mr Wright’s father Nigel cooked a roast for lunch.
Mr Wright said in the years to come the family will spend half a day celebrating Christmas and half a day celebrating Skyla’s birthday to make it fair.
