The Glenroi Community Group is working with the community, police, Orange City Council and government authorities to work out a masterplan to better use community assets including Glenroi Oval, Edye Park and the Glenroi Community Centre on Garema Road.
The next meeting is at 6pm at the community centre and residents are invited.
Community group secretary Joe Maric said they were pleased with the turnout at the previous meeting and hoped it would lead to more community involvement in creating a masterplan for the future.
Orange councillors Jason Hamling and Stephen Nugent plus representatives of the police, the department of Family and Community Services, the council and sporting groups attended.
