Sharon Marie Douglas, 39, of Oxley Place, was stopped at the intersection of South Terrace and Oxley Place at 10.38pm on September 14.
According to police she swore at the officers and said she was nearly home so they should just let her drive home before refusing to be breath tested. She later returned a mid-range reading of 0.117.

Magistrate David Day sentenced Douglas in Orange Local Court on Monday, and said Douglas had a bad record, and the offence was her second for mid-range drink driving this year.
Solicitor Jo Collings said Douglas had been drinking with her sister, “who she had not seen in some time”, and when they ran out of alcohol she went to get more.
For mid-range drink driving Douglas was given a nine-month intensive correction order, told to abstain from alcohol and take part in alcohol treatment, had her driver’s licence disqualified for six months, and was given a 24-month interlock order.
For driving while disqualified she was given a two-year community correction order, was told to participate in alcohol treatment, and was given a concurrent nine-month driving disqualification.
She was also convicted without further penalty for not properly restraining the toddler, who was not in a child’s car seat.
