New coach links between Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo and Parkes are on the cards, but NSW TrainLink is looking for feedback from the community.
The coach services would enable day return travel between cities and towns in the Central West, with stops at towns in between.
This will provide customers in the Central West with more connections and more choice when travelling in the region.
One of the major additions is a proposed daily return service between Dubbo and Orange.
The trial coach service would leave Dubbo at 10am and travel through Parkes and Manildra before arriving in Orange at 12.45pm.
It would leave Orange at 5.15pm and arrive back in Dubbo at 7.15pm.
An announcement by TrainLink stated the services would provide better connection for regional communities.
“Services will run at times that allow customers to connect with existing timetabled train and coach services and make a return journey on the same day,” it read.
“This will provide customers in the Central West with more connections and more choice when travelling in the region.”
A series of community information sessions kicked off on Tuesday in to gain feedback from people in the region on the proposed routes.
A session will be held at Orange Train Station from 11.30am–12.30pm on Wednesday.
