An 18-year-old man has been sentenced in Orange Local Court for kicking a screen door causing the mesh to come out of the frame, and later resisting arrest.

Jamal Cutmore, of Scarborough Street, will be supervised and have to attend rehabilitation and treatment as a result of his offences.
According to police, Cutmore was at the victim’s home at 8.40pm on September 20 when they began to argue with the argument becoming heated.
On his way out, Cutmore kicked the door.
He was arrested close to midnight but while being escorted to the police vehicle he began to throw his arms around in an effort to resist police and in response police took him to the ground and handcuffed him.
He was given two 12-month community correction orders for resisting police and damaging property and he was given an 18-month community correction order for contravening an AVO.
