After a rocky start to life, the four-year-old Australian Cattle Dog needs a new family with plenty of love and time to give him.
Rocky has epilepsy and this means he will need a family which is experienced in administering regular medications to help control his condition.
He will also need to go to regular medical check ups to make sure he is feeling okay and keeping healthy.
The crew at the Orange RSPCA shelter where Rocky is being held said he would be best suited to a quiet home with gentle children over the age of eight years.
At the shelter the desexed young man has enjoyed meeting other dogs, but his temporary carers think it’d be best for him to meet prospective housemates before moving in.
The RSPCA is at 71 William Street and open Wednesday-Monday 10am-3.30pm.
