Orange City might be resuming their Orange District Cricket Association clash with Centrals in the box seat, but the game does remain firmly in the balance at Riawena Oval.
Jeremy Bartier (24 not out) and Lachlan Coyte (18 not out) the unbeaten bats with the Warriors 3-67 in reply to Centrals’ day one score of 138, and the red and blacks will be going hell-for-leather in an attempt to pick up early wickets and claw their way back into the clash.
Meanwhile at Wade Park competition leaders Cavaliers are looking to flip their first innings defeat to CYMS, suffered on day one, into an outright result.
Stumps were called with CYMS’ final wicket falling last weekend and the Matt Corben-led maroons will start the day trailing by just three runs, the green and golds edged home with one wicket to spare on day one.
Both games resume at 1pm on Saturday afternoon, and will complete the competition’s sixth round.
