Meanwhile at Wade Park competition leaders Cavaliers are looking to flip their first innings defeat to CYMS, suffered on day one, into an outright result.
Stumps were called with CYMS’ final wicket falling last weekend and the Matt Corben-led maroons will start the day trailing by just three runs, the green and golds edged home with one wicket to spare on day one.
Both games resume at 1pm on Saturday afternoon, and will complete the competition’s sixth round.
