A BOW and arrow and a safe were among the items stolen during a brazen break and enter in Orange on Wednesday.

The theft occurred at a residence in Algona Crescent between 5.30am and 8pm.
Entry was gained via a side window, and a number of items were taken, including a compound bow and arrows, food, tobacco and a safe.

In an unrelated incident, a 22-year-old man was charged with breaching an apprehended violence order and destroying or damaging property on Wednesday.
Police claim the man damaged a door at a property in a domestic violence-related incident.
He was issued with a court attendance notice and appeared before Orange Local Court on Thursday.
Elsewhere, a teenager was charged with stealing on Wednesday.
Police say the 19 year old entered a store on Summer Street and removed items without paying for them.
He appeared in Orange Local Court on Thursday.
