People can have photos of their pets taken with Santa at the cat and kitten rescue centre at 192 March Street between 10am and 4pm on the day.
Money raised will go towards medical and food costs in the current kitten season.
Blossoms Rescue co-owner Bec Ferguson said the kitten season started in September and will continue though to March.

“At the moment there would be around 40 [cats and kittens in care] it seems every time one comes in and gets big enough to get desexed and adopted, another one comes in,” Mrs Ferguson said.
She said the Orange-based non-profit organisation has rescued about 1300 cats and kittens and broken their breeding cycles since starting almost six years and this will be the fifth Santa Paws fundraiser.
Mrs Ferguson said people can bring any pet and children can also be in the photos.
Mrs Ferguson said in the past people have brought cats and dogs but there have also be small horses, chickens and guinea pigs.
She said in the past the event has been held for two days leading up to Christmas and raised about $1000 each time but this year will be a one day event.
The cost is $10 for the first 5x7 copy or $5 for each extra copy or $20 for the photo to be emailed.
