The Millthorpe Markets will set up in the grounds of Millthorpe Public School and the adjacent Redmond Oval on Sunday, and coordinator Rachel Booth said there would be plenty to enjoy.
“Millthorpe Markets will be hosting over 250 stallholders, showcasing everything from fashion to face-painting, clothing to candles, gourmet delights to homewares and of course a plethora of delicious fresh food,” she said.
“We are so excited to again offer an amazingly diverse range of stalls, with some familiar faces joined by exciting new products.”
Ms Booth said the summer market was a fantastic place to do some Christmas shopping and explore the gorgeous village of Millthorpe.

“Visitors can also relax in our lovely school and oval grounds, enjoy a coffee, snack or lunch and take some time out listening to a selection of local musicians,” she said.
Organised by Millthorpe Public School’s parent and community committee, the markets have run for more than a decade and raised funds for school equipment including whiteboards, a sports shed and outdoor furniture.
Money is raised for Millthorpe Public School through the school run barbeque, a hot dog stand and a cake stall.
Entry is a gold coin donation with all of the dollars collected going towards educational resources for the school’s 290 students.
The markets will run from 8:30am-3pm.
Free car parking facilities are available in the grounds of the Church of St Canice.
