The recently formed band – made up of James Mortimer on lead guitar, Albie Beven on drums and Robbie Mortimer on vocal – will offer crowds a mix of covers and originals from 8pm.
The band’s lead singer said the Friday set will span the genres, from 50s pop, rock and country, right up until today.
“The stuff which usually gets people up are songs they haven’t heard for a little while. We played Mmmbop by Hanson the other day and everyone joined in,” he said.
With a solo album coming out in December, Mr Mortimer said the audience might get to hear a few original tracks earlier on in the night.
He said the album has an acoustic feel and features songs he’s been writing and tweaking for the last five years.
While wedding season has traditionally kept the brothers pretty busy with gigs, Mr Mortimer said the band is looking to do more regular shows at pubs and clubs.
“Orange is such a great hub for live music,” he said.
