The red-hot Duntryleague right-hander continued his terrific run of form on Sunday when he hit 105 off the stick to win the 27-hole Blayney Open by two shots.

In gusty winds at the compact, tree-laden Blayney Golf Club, Conran tackled the tricky conditions best to edge fellow Duntryleague gun Craig Stojanovic by two shots.

Perennial open champion and 2018 Country Club winner Robert Payne shot 112 at Blayney on Sunday.

Conran is fresh off an appearance at the AVJennnings NSW Open at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club, shooting a second-round, seven-under 65 to make the cut.

He qualified for the NSW Open after a maiden Bathurst Open win in October and later went around the 27-hole Canowindra Open in 102 to claim its major prize too.

The 20-year-old will this weekend take on his home open at Duntryleague. Payne is the defending champion after firing back-to-back rounds of 68 to claim last year’s crown.

Blayney golfers dominated the lower grades at their home open, with Danny Stammers topping the B grade standings while Glen Owen edged Ian Hobby in a thrilling play-off in C grade.

Owen and Hobby went shot-for-shot through three play-off holes – the first, then ninth, then first again – before Owen eventually edged ahead on the pair's second crack at the ninth to win the C grade title.
