I have been a volunteer there for the past 23 years and have held office bearer positions, as well as a coach, for 17 years.

I have witnessed the sheer dedication, expertise and kindness all the volunteers have had towards the disabled children who attend there every week.

Many of the children have no other outlet such as sport, so RDA really helps them to achieve little steps which might seem insignificant to you or I, but it is momentous for the kids, and they have heaps of fun as well.

All the volunteers, no matter whether they have been there for a short or long time, can look back and think what a wonderful, productive, happy year 2018 has been.

The volunteers are a family to each other and I am very grateful to have had their close friendship over the years.

Sadly my health has dictated that I resign from RDA, which has given me such happiness and satisfaction as well.
