The event will be staged at Brad Haddin Oval, Queanbeyan, next Saturday, November 24 and with the combined efforts of both the NSW Athletic League and the Queanbeyan Little Athletics club senior and junior athletes aged from six to 96 are expected to participate.
There are six senior events, minimum age of 14 years for both male and female which can be entered through www.nswal.org.au.
There are also eight little athletic events for kids aged between six and 17, with all entries and handicapping being conducted by the Queanbeyan Little Athletics, which will be overviewed by their president Joe Sheridan.
Last year’s Gift attracted a strong representation from Orange, and NSW Athletic League vice president Billy Edwards said any local or regional resident is invited to register and participate in the 2018 edition next Saturday.
The league also helps run the Cowra Lachlan Valley Gift meeting, which will be held on Saturday, February 23 in 2019 at Twigg Oval.
More information can be found at www.nswal.org.au. The NSW Athletic League has supported regional events since 1903.
