Cricket NSW’s Junior Blaster and Master Blaster programs cater to children between five and 10 years old and revolve around teaching skills.
It is encouraging to see so many boys and girls enjoying the the programs and learning the skills of cricket.

Despite having already started, Cricket NSW’s Central West development manager Matthew Tabbernor advised parents there were still spots available for their boys and girls.
“We have 42 kids doing the Junior Blaster on Monday and 13 teams [of six to eight kids] doing Master Blaster on Thursday,” he said.
“It is encouraging to see so many boys and girls enjoying the the programs and learning the skills of cricket, which is a great stepping stone to junior cricket.”
Mr Tabbernor said participation numbers were on par with previous years.
