HUNDREDS of youngsters are taking to Wade Park each Monday and Thursday afternoon to learn cricket’s skills, and it’s not too late for parents to get their kids involved.

Despite having already started, Cricket NSW’s Central West development manager Matthew Tabbernor advised parents there were still spots available for their boys and girls.
“We have 42 kids doing the Junior Blaster on Monday and 13 teams [of six to eight kids] doing Master Blaster on Thursday,” he said.
“It is encouraging to see so many boys and girls enjoying the the programs and learning the skills of cricket, which is a great stepping stone to junior cricket.”
Mr Tabbernor said participation numbers were on par with previous years.
Parents can register their children at www.playcricket.com.au.
