From 6pm, the public is invited to an end-of-year exhibition which will feature 18 students’ photography pieces, paintings, drawings and digital prints onto textiles.
Printmaker and painter Tim Winters will open the show, which features Diploma of Graphic Design, Diploma of Visual Arts, Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts students; and Certificate IV in Photography and Digital Imaging students from Orange, Bathurst and Portland.
TAFE NSW teacher Bridget Thomas said the standard of creative work produced in these subjects is very high year-after-year due to the maturity of the groups.
“Students get to really self-direct and take it in the path they’re interested in,” she said.
Ms Thomas said the exhibition features stand-out work from a number of students, including block prints created by Kristyn Curtin which explore childhood fears and the way adults contribute to their construction.
