A vehicle rolled on its side and slid along the road after a collision at the intersection of Dalton and Clinton streets on Monday night.

Central West Police District Inspector Dave Harvey said the incident occurred at about 5.40pm.
He said a vehicle travelling west on Dalton Street “failed to observe the give way” and entered the intersection where it collided with another car heading north on Clinton Street.

“The first vehicle rolled over to its side and slid for a number of metres,” he said.
“The occupant was able to free himself from the vehicle.”
Inspector Harvey said the man, 24, was assessed by paramedics at the scene and transferred to Orange hospital.
“He was not suffering serious injuries,” he said.
Inspector Harvey said the driver had been issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice.
He said the other driver, a woman, 19, was not injured in the collision.
