Aquatic centre staff announced last week that the centre’s indoor facilities – the toddlers’ pool and 25-metre lap pool – would be closed over the weekend and on Monday while the kids’ pool was being repainted.
We are trying to rectify the problem as quickly as we can.

On Monday morning it was announced the entire centre would close while the issue with the outdoor pool was rectified.
“Due to a water imbalance in the 50m pool the whole centre is currently closed,” a post of the centre’s Facebook page read.
“We are trying to rectify the problem as quickly as we can.
“Sorry for any inconvenience and we will keep you updated on the progress.”
That post has since been updated to let patrons know the outdoor pool is now open again.
It is expected both the 50-metre outdoor pool and 25-metre indoor pool will be open on Tuesday, however the toddlers’ pool will remain closed for a couple of weeks while the new surface cures and the pool is re-filled.
