Nine of the side that took down the Cattle Dogs will front at Tony Luchetti Sportsground this weekend, but stars Matt Corben, Josh Doherty, Shaun Grenfell and Zac Reimer won’t be in the Bluebaggers’ line up.
They’re big losses by anyone’s standards considering Corben (92), Doherty (59) and Grenfell (32) contributed more than half of Orange’s runs in that win over the Blue Mountains, while Reimer was miserly with the ball in taking 1-13 from seven overs.
Kaleb Cook has earned a call-up after plundering 157 against Orange City last weekend while Kinross’ Max Powell and Angus Cumming also come into the side, Orange are expected to run with the bare minimum 11.
Sunday’s clash is Lithgow’s first of the competition, they’ll be looking to build on last summer, when they won just one of their four encounters.
Play at Tony Luchetti Sportsground begins at 10am on Sunday morning.
